A Little About Me...

My name is Marissa. I am a mom of two crazy kiddo's, 2 lazy piggies, 3 crazy goats, 30(ish) free range chickens, 2 pups (A Shit-Zu and a Golden Retriever) 2 house cats, and three barn cats. I have been artsy fartsy my whole life. I enjoy many crafty things, but photography was always one of my favorites. I really started to love the art of photography around 9 years ago. I bought my first DSLR and began to take photos for family, but it was always just for fun. I took a few classes and continued to take photos for family and friends...then three years ago, I had my son. I took photos of him non stop, which helped me find my true love for photography. Around that same time I decided to stay home and be a stay at home mom...but after awhile I craved work and found myself taking more and more photos for people to stay busy. With some encouragement from my husband and my family I took the leap and decided to take on my photography as a business full time. (BEST decision ever!!) The rest is history. I have loved my photography journey and all of the people I have met so much! Photography is truly more than just a job for me... it is a way of life. A life I absolutely LOVE!
